5. AI Media and Synthetic Content Rules
DIYVDO outputs can look realistic. You must use extra care when generating or sharing content that depicts real people, public figures, brands, logos, sensitive events, news-like scenes, medical or legal claims, or political and civic topics.
- Do not create misleading synthetic media that is likely to deceive viewers about real events, real statements, identity, consent, or authorship.
- Do not use character locking or reference tools to impersonate a real person without appropriate rights, consent, or lawful basis.
- Do not generate fake endorsements, fake evidence, fake documentation, fake news footage, or synthetic media intended to manipulate public opinion or harm a person or organization.
- When context requires transparency, label or disclose that content was AI-generated, AI-assisted, or synthetic.
6. Minors and Child Safety
DIYVDO has zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits, endangers, abuses, targets, grooms, or harms minors. You may not upload, request, generate, store, share, or attempt to transform any child sexual abuse material or sexualized depiction of minors or persons who appear to be minors.
Content involving minors must be lawful, respectful, age-appropriate, and created with proper rights and permissions. We may remove content, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, and report suspected child-safety violations to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
7. Rights, Permissions, and Brand Safety
You must have the rights needed to upload and use scripts, images, videos, audio, logos, character designs, voice materials, product references, style references, and other inputs. You are responsible for ensuring your outputs can be used for your intended purpose.
- Do not upload confidential scripts, client assets, unreleased campaigns, or proprietary materials unless you are authorized to process them through DIYVDO.
- Do not request outputs that copy a living artist’s protected work, infringe a brand, or falsely suggest sponsorship or endorsement.
- Do not remove or alter required notices, watermarks, disclosures, or attribution requirements where they apply.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
DIYVDO may review, block, remove, refuse to process, restrict access to, or delete content, prompts, uploads, outputs, account records, or shared links that appear to violate these Guidelines, applicable law, provider rules, or platform terms.
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, DIYVDO may issue warnings, fail a generation, withhold an output, deduct or refuse to refund units where processing was attempted, suspend generation privileges, restrict account access, ban an account, or report unlawful activity to relevant authorities.
9. Reporting Violations
If you believe content, a generated asset, a shared URL, a prompt, or account activity violates these Guidelines, contact DIYVDO at getintouch@diyvdo.com.
Include the username if known, asset URL, approximate date and time, the reason for the report, and any relevant context. We may not be able to share the outcome of every review, but reports help us protect the platform and its users.
10. Updates
DIYVDO may update these Community Guidelines as the product, laws, safety practices, provider rules, and creative use cases evolve. The “Last updated” date above indicates when these Guidelines were most recently revised. Continued use of DIYVDO after an update means you acknowledge the updated Guidelines.
